Just finished watching the newest Doctor Who show from 2005 until now! OMG I love that show. I’ve watched few bits that came on tv, but I don’t watch tv anymore, well I watch shows on the net, anyway I forgot about it. Delight, delight I came across the link and i’m oober excited for the new season! Here is a bit of a background story:
Doctor Who is a British science fiction television programme produced by the BBC. The programme depicts the adventures of a Time Lord, a time-travelling, humanoid alien known as the Doctor who explores the universe in a sentient time machine called the TARDIS that flies through time and space, whose exterior appears as a blue police box from 1963 London, when the series first aired. Along with a succession of companions, he faces a variety of foes while working to save civilisations, help people, and right wrongs.
What makes it even more interesting, is that being the doctor is a time lord, he has the ability to regenerate when near death. So it makes it very easy to keep the story going. I have watched 3 faces of the doctor, which makes this last one the 11th doctor! Super cool!
When I first started watching Doctor Who, the story lines were funny and some of the alien costumes were a mess.com. LOL but I did enjoy it very much. Plus hello Billie Piper was in it. OMG I used to love her music! And who was the doctor, eep it was Barty Crouch Jr from Harry Potter lol. Speaking of, there are a few characters in this show that also were in the Harry Potter movies. The newest doctor, although a different face, transitioned very well. Matt Smith, who plays the doctor now does a great job of keeping the spirit of how David Tennant acted. I do like how the story line is now a bit more scary, serious and mysterious!
