I’ve only known the Marukai/Daiso located off Balboa Ave in San Diego. Anz had posted her excursion on her blog. I was super excited to go and check it out! I mean $1.50 for most of the items! How AWESOME is that! The Marukai/Daiso one is $1.98. The one she went to is located in Torrance, which is pretty far, not to bad though, 1 1/2 to 2 hrs depending on traffic. HOWEVER, I Googled some photos and someone posted that they were opening one in Irvine! Well they did on April 14th! It’s about 1 hr away! YES!!

This store is HUGE! They had pretty much everything! We got there around 11am, so there wasn’t too many people around! However, after eating lunch and visiting the other Marukai in Costa Mesa, my sister wanted me to bring her back something. Back again to Daiso we go and WHOA, sooo many people! There were some people simply amazed at the prices, as I’m assuming it’s their first time there like us. Everyone in line baskets full to the brim! Even I had to put back some things regardless that it’s $1.50! LOL

There is soo much stuff there! I can’t wait to go back! First time visit – SUCCESS

I AM ABSOLUTELY EXCITED!!!! I finally have Rosetta Stone! I decided to try………KOREAN!! Ahaha yes! Why? Well it’s a bit silly. I first heard the language when I was about 12 (ugh i’m old – 13 years ago). We had the International Channel because my grandma would watch the Filipino shows. I stumbled across this show called “MVH – MUSIC VIDEO HEAVEN” I was in awe of the video styling, the sound, the people! SO BEAUTIFUL. Ahaha, yes, my first introduction to K-POP. Back then it was all about H.O.T. , S.E.S., Baby Vox… I’ve been on and off with listening to K-POP but got into J-POP and now that I stumbled across THE MOST AWESOME GROUP EVER (I feel like a teeny bopper again, but I’m okay with that). Those who listen, you know who I’m talking about lol BIG BANG *screams GD – T.O.P. FOREVER lmao oh gawd! I watched “Bad Boy” and fell in love.

So I told my mom “I’m learning Korean, Japanese, then Tagalog” She got flustered, well because I should learn TAGALOG instead *SIGH yes I understand Tagalog a bit so ugh fine! *crosses arms It will be fun to speak to her in Tagalog *yells to mom “FINE I’M GETTING TAGALOG ONE NOW” lol. My mom has never spoken Tagalog to us (Older sister) since we moved from the Phillipines, so I quickly forgot the language. I’m forgetting it more and more, as she only speaks Tagalog only to her friends. So fine…”Tagalog first, Korean, then Japanese”

And another language I should really learn too is SPANISH being here in California. I’ll get to that one day, I took Spanish in high-school and Tagalog has similar vocabulary so it won’t be too hard to learn.

What other languages do you want to learn? or relearn?

I’ve been trying to figure out what camera I wanted to get for months now! And I finally choose this one! The Canon Rebel T3i. About a week ago Fry’s Electronics had this for sale for $599!! Unfortunately, I was too late in purchasing it. I added it to the cart and checked out. Within a few minutes I got an email stating that it was no longer available!! UGH I even called the store, which, the lady that helped said that they had 3 available. One on the sale floor and 2 on hold!! *sigh so basically it was all sold out! Super lame. Anyway, BestBuy still had it for sale for $798, so that wasn’t too bad.

Test Photos

I really love how the photos turned out and now I’m watching tutorials and taking notes on how to use the camera! I’m really excited to venture out and play with the settings! I didn’t take any of me lol I didn’t feel like doing my makeup…*sigh but I walked around the house outside and took photos of the dogs Miko (Yorkie) and Cookie (Chihuahua/?).

Miko always runs behind the sofa and takes his naps there.

Cookie always looks sad, it’s just her face lol.
