Next stop Seaworld San Diego! I love going here on warm sunny days! They just opened a new roller coaster ride that day called the Manta. I didn’t get a chance to ride it…it was soooo packed ugh I hate that. So many people because of the freakin holiday. We didn’t stay all day either…only for a few hours. Anyway, we saw the shamu show, which is always nice to watch. These creatures are so beautiful. We usually get seats closer but we didn’t as if you sit closer you are pretty much in the “soak zone” a cool little trick that they taught them. They swim around the edge of the tank or in one place and splash water into the crowd…yeah no…was not in the mood for that.

My Memorial weekend started off going to Hollywood and Six Flags Magic Mountain. I’ve been to Hollywood before, but some family came down to stay and visit. So it made sense to stop by on the way to Six Flags. We didn’t stay too long…we went along the “Hollywood Walk of Fame” and drove through Rodeo. The the highlight of the walk was I got to see the Harry Potter and Twilight crew casts. I didn’t take very many photos and Six Flags. There was too much going on to take proper photos lol!!

Lime Crime in Airborn Unicorn: Lime
Medium violet-purple lipstick with a neon note. Hue as mysterious as the animal itself. This color combines lipstick and lipstain for prolonged wear.

Lime Crime: Airborne Unicorn Opaque Lipstick LimeCrime.com ($15.99)

I never thought to try out this lipstick but I saw it on Eki’s blog sale for a bit cheaper! So what the heck I bought it on a whim and this was the start of my purple lipstick addiction.

While testing out my “Night Portrait” mode on my new camera, I really loved how this color turned up. I’ve been taking many photos of myself with this lipcolor since I bought it and haven’t got the “right” look for it, however, it works with everything (i’m just being picky). I love how creamy the formula is and I LOVE the lip stain color after. On my lips, it turns to a dark hot pink color. This lipstick is very build-able from sheer to full on color. I have 2 toned lips, so I’m all about full color.

Pros:
Pretty cute packaging, a silver unicorn against a purple background!
Build-able
Pretty even staining effect (unless you don’t like that then..a con for you)
Vegan

Cons:
Bright neon purple (I took photos outside and whoa it’s like so neon)

Also, I colored my hair back to brown, I never posted that I had colored only half of it lighter color…you can see a bit from my header photos.

I stumbled across this product while checking out the new products on IMOMOKO. I mean look at this yummy, cute looking packaging! I’ve never even heard about sleeping masks before! So I was really excited to try it!

What It Says:

An overnight mask formulated with fruit acids gently peel off dead skin cells and banish a dull and lackluster complexion. A known skin moisturizer, pectin provides superior hydration to give skin a soft and silky feel. Apply evenly on cleansed skin before going to bed. Wash off in the morning. Recommended for oily and blemish prone skin.

Packaging:
I can’t get over how adorable the packaging is! An APPLE!! LOL

Scent:
It smells pretty darn close to an apple! I love the smell of fresh cut apples!

Texture:
The consistency is just like lotion. Smooth and easy to put on. The product will not soak in completely, you can feel a thin layer on your skin. It’s also a bit sticky, and even though I sleep with a towel, it doesn’t wipe off.

Ease of Use:
Very easy to use, I put it on like face lotion. I didn’t care for the spoon that it came with. I tried using it but I ended of scraping the rest off the spoon. So I find it better to just use your fingers. The next morning just rinse it off!

Product Efficiency:
I use it about 3x a week, but even after the first day of using it I can tell the difference. My skin looked fresh, clean and hydrated.

Availability:
For most of us in the U.S. it’s only available online: Imomoko.com. However, they also sell it at Marukai!

Price:
I bought it at Marukai for $11.99, not bad as you don’t need to use alot of product.

Repurchase: Yes.

Overall Rating: 4/5

While picking up some purple lipsticks today, my partner in crime, Justine, decided to stop by Big Lots. What is Big Lots? Big Lots is America’s largest broad line closeout retailer. This is where I discovered E.L.F. products for even cheaper…not by much but still cheaper. Anyway, wandering down the isle, I notice “Philosophy” makeup..WHAATTT you say? I say the same, WHAATTT!!!!! I couldn’t even comprehend how I felt today. It was like silent excitement pulsing through me. Usually they have, drugstore makeup, so I never in a million years think that the would have Philosophy products. They had a little section towards the end cap. The price, well they were all $3.00!!! HOLY AMAZEBALLS, Justine and I got one of everything basically. So in the ended up with 11 items. Which we are on the hunt for more! As there is 2 more stores around us. Upon coming home and Google blog searching, there’s also glosses and palettes, which we didn’t see. They too had Calvin Klein single shadows, that were $5.50, but hopefully they will be there later. So check out your local Big Lots for those of you that live in the US.
