These were interesting because they look familiar to a pair I have, Spring Heart’s No. 11. So I wasn’t too curious about the look of these, however this style is also completely different from the others in the collection. The color is really dark and the hairs don’t look soft and whispy like usual. They are the same quality as Daiso $1.50 lashes, which I also own as well. Diamond Dolly is to be paired with NO. 14 Natural Cute bottom lashes.
Volume:
The volume is emphazied at the middle of the lash bone. With a criss-cross design at both ends. The look is still very beautiful on the eyes as it creates a rounding effect as well.
Length:
The length is just right. The hairs I feel are really short. At least on me, I feel it looks like that. When I put these on I have to push them up towards my eyebrows, so the design is more visible.
Ease of Application:
They’re easy to handle and put on because of the lash bone being more stiff. It has a definite shape to them for easy application.
Comfort:
Even though the lash bone is stiffer, it sits pretty lightly on the eyes.
Reusability:
I’ve been wearing Dolly Wink lashes for more than a year and I only had to retire 3 pairs. Always handle lashes carefully and properly if you want them to last long.
Price:
They were $17.95, they come with 2 pairs and lash glue.

I have never really been on the search for new makeup brushes. I’ve only recently been WEARING makeup for a year now. Weird right, but seriously I don’t know why I never was really into it. The most I did was tinted moisturizer and eyeliner. When I got into makeup, I bought E.L.F. products. With that, I collected most of the E.L.F professional brushes and a few Sonia Kashuk. They are made well but then I bought high end makeup and never looked back lol. I was in fact fine with the brushes, BUT I did notice that after I bought a high-end foundation that the E.L.F. foundation brush was not cutting it. Neither for eyeshadow. I stumbled across Haute(Oat)Look and checked often for deals. I saw these brushes and searched for reviews. There are mixed reviews online. Most of the them still positive. What a lot of people said is that they are comparable to them to M.A.C. brushes. So the third time around HauteLook was selling them, I purchased them.

Just an FYI, HauteLook ships like 2 weeks later because the supplier ships it to them and then they ship to us. UGGHHH annoying! Anyway, when I first opened the brush roll all the brushes had plastic around each brush , which is nice. As they won’t get messed up while it gets tossed around. Ehh I threw them away IDK if I was supposed to put it back on or what. There was a slight smell, I don’t remember what kind because this was a while back. A good washing got rid of the smell. The hairs are SUPER soft and wonderful. The makeup products get picked up and put on easily! I still haven’t used all the brushes though. If you are in for new brushes that aren’t too expensive I recommend you purchase this set or other brushes from this brand. You can wait for them to sell on HauteLook or buy them on the official site here.

LEFT: Pigmented color RIGHT: Smudged SUPER hard once

LEFT: Under running water RIGHT: Smudged hard once
This product has been reviewed many times over. But how can I not put in my 2 cents in about it? I’ve been using the old version of the liner for quite some time now and I absolutely love it. I was also running out by the time the new version came out, so I thought to buy both black and brown. I was really excited she came out with a brown liquid eyeliner. I have the brown pencil eyeliner and never used it much because I like to wing it out and just the pencil is not sharp enough.
The packaging is very cute with a floral design instead of polka dots. The brush is super soft and the color glides easily over the skin. I love how it has the functionality of drawing thin and thick lines with ease. With both colors I noticed that the formula is quite watery. I can see the product seep into the wrinkles of my skin when I first applied it on my hand. It does dry very quick, so you don’t have to worry about it smearing onto other parts of your eye. They are also very pigmented. From the durability test, the brown liner does not compare to the black. The official website does point out that it is resistant to rubbing…which if you don’t have oily lids, it takes a lot of effort for it to budge. It also points out that it comes off easily with hot water…so that means it’s not waterproof. I do like that the product has honey in it to moisturize your skin as well.
PROS
Pigmented
Precise
Soft brush
Smudge proof
Honey extract for moisturizing
Dries fast
CONS
Watery formula
Not waterproof
Hard to get a hold of
Can be pricey

Always super excited about Dolly Wink lashes. These ones interested me the most, the design is very pretty. These are to be paired with no. 13 Baby Girl bottom lashes.
Volume:
Out of the otona series, these are definitely the most voluminous. The design is pretty similar to no. 01. As I think that’s why it’s called Dolly Mix, which has the Dolly part of Dolly Sweet.
Length:
The length fits on my eye naturally. However, I did notice putting it on…it seemed short. I compared it to the other otona lashes and these are definitely the shortest of all (excluding the half lashes).
Ease of Application:
Like I previously mentioned, I noticed how short the length was. This was a little tricky to put on and figured out that I had to start at the end and work my way in.
Comfort:
Never fails to be the lightest lashes I own.
Reusability:
I’ve been wearing Dolly Wink lashes for more than a year and I only had to retire 3 pairs. Always handle lashes carefully and properly if you want them to last long.
Price:
They were $17.95, they come with 2 pairs and lash glue. A bit cheaper than what I paid for the previous otona line.

“CandyDoll is a cosmetic that realizes the wish that the girl wants to be cute. Sweet as fluffly. Happy as milky. It begins sparkling as made magic.”

CandyDoll: Ramune Pink, Mitsuwa ($18)
We all know that these lipsticks are expensive and overpriced…but this is the cheapest I found this lipstick that wasn’t online. I was very reluctant to try as I wasn’t sure the lipstick would look good on me, but then again, you can never really fail on a pink lipstick. The tube is black and cute with stripes on the cap. When I first put this on I loved it, it’s a really soft nude sweet color. The texture is really creamy, so it glides on easily. It reminds me of NYX round lipsticks. There is no real scent to it. I love the pigmentation and you can layer it to the intensity you want. It lasted me about 3 hours before reapplication, you can also put concealer/foundation on your lips to set the product a bit more as well.
Pros:
Pigmented
Creamy
Will suit many skintones
Cons:
Non-moisturing
Settles in cracks
Pricey
