“CandyDoll is a cosmetic that realizes the wish that the girl wants to be cute. Sweet as fluffly. Happy as milky. It begins sparkling as made magic.”

CandyDoll: Ramune Pink, Mitsuwa ($18)

We all know that these lipsticks are expensive and overpriced…but this is the cheapest I found this lipstick that wasn’t online. I was very reluctant to try as I wasn’t sure the lipstick would look good on me, but then again, you can never really fail on a pink lipstick. The tube is black and cute with stripes on the cap. When I first put this on I loved it, it’s a really soft nude sweet color. The texture is really creamy, so it glides on easily. It reminds me of NYX round lipsticks. There is no real scent to it. I love the pigmentation and you can layer it to the intensity you want. It lasted me about 3 hours before reapplication, you can also put concealer/foundation on your lips to set the product a bit more as well.

Pros:
Pigmented
Creamy
Will suit many skintones

Cons:
Non-moisturing
Settles in cracks
Pricey

Girls Be Romantic…how can I not get sucked in with that slogan. As you can see I also got lashes to go along with the eye shadow. I first saw this post on Eki’s blog and I happened to pick up the same one she showed.

Volume:
What attracted me with this design was the dramatic look. Also, all the other designs are similar to what I already have. I think this is just enough thickness for a day or night time eye.

Length:
The band length is just the right size, they are not long. Even though I would never cut up my more expensive lashes lol. However, I prefer a long band like Dolly Wink. The hair length is long as well, very flutterly and I must say romantic.

Ease of Application:
These have a stiff but thin band, so it was easy to pop on.

Comfort:
These are definitely between heavy and light. Diamond Lash being heavy and Dolly Wink being light =)

Reusability:
The stiff band makes the shape last longer! But of course you should handle any lashes properly if you want them to last long.

Price:
They were $14.99 and they come with 2 pairs. All the SHOBI lashes at Marukai are the same price. However, Diamond Lash and Decorative Eyelash have 5 pairs. BUT, BRIGITTE doesn’t have the shininess to it.

Overall, I think this would be nice to add to your collection. I don’t think I will buy another style from this line.

I dropped into my local Marukai Market and noticed this new display of cosmetics and lashes. This product is produced by SHO-BI, the makers of Diamond Lash and Decorative Eyelash. I walked around and went back to this display more than 6 times, contemplating on if I should touch it (knowing me, if I can swatch it, i’ll probably buy it…which I did). I couldn’t resist the romantic packaging…pinks, browns, lace…so feminine.

There are 5 small palettes, ranging in the muted tones of white, pink, brown, gold and purple. I choose the pink toned palette “Romantic Eyes RD-1″ as to get away from the browns I already have. The packaging is pretty sturdy and I love the Victorian graphic that frames the product. These shadows are smooth and silky upon application and are pearl shimmer based. They are pigmented nicely and blend easily.

Pros
Pretty and sturdy packaging
Smooth & silky texture
Light shimmer

Cons
A bit expensive ($20)
Hard to find in the US

Overall, I recommend this product if you can get your hands on it. The color payoff is beautiful and soft.

Koji Dolly Wink Eyebrow Pencil has three different colors for you to match your trendy hair color. The eyebrow pencil is easy to apply and provides you a natural looking eyebrow. Koji Dolly Wink Eyebrow Pencil is waterproof and highly resistant to sweat and grease.

I was pretty satisfied with my normal routine of using Anastasia brow express. However, I couldn’t resist the cute packaging of the new Dolly Wink collection and decided to throw it in my basket of fun when I went Marukai shoppping. Although, the pencil itself looks very plain, it does the job. Which the packaging compares to many high-end brands. It comes pre-sharpened and has a brow brush on the end. The formula is firm but very smooth to work with. It doesn’t come off harsh, which helps in building up the shade color. It doesn’t tug on the skin, which helps drawing a smooth line. It blends nicely even prior to using the brush. You also have the option of purchasing the matching brow powder and mascara in keeping it long lasting all day. The color worked perfectly for me and I absolutely love this pencil. The price is just right for a mid-ranged brand. So I definitely recommend purchasing this product.

Colour plus texture for the lips. Stands out on the runway. Simmers on the street! What made M·A·C famous.

M.A.C. Lipstick: Please Me maccosmetics ($15)

Please Me is a matte muted rosy tinted pink lipstick. OH EM GEE I la la la la LOVE this lip color! I wear it literally ALL the time. This is my all time favorite lipstick and is definitely an HG item! I am a huge fan of matte lipsticks, even though it can be a bit drying. Which you can always put a gloss over if need be. I love the smell of MAC lipsticks, that sweet vanilla smell. To me it’s not overpowering, I think it’s subtle. From other reviews from people with different skin tones, this color will look beautiful on anyone! I am a MAC NC 43 just in case you’re wondering.

Pros:
Pigmented
Vanilla Smell
Suits many skin tones

Cons:
Drying
Settles in cracks
Vanilla Smell

I really hate the photos I took…I thought my makeup looked good then..now not so much lol. But I wanted to get this up so don’t mind the rest of my face ahaha!
